Kinda based on "Pick my Units" or "PMU" for short runs i see on /r/fireemblem.
A PMP Run (Pick my Pokémon run) is a run where you play a pokémon game...with a twist: People can suggest the pokémon you can have in your team:
Rules
Core Rules
Because it's not a true PMP Run if these rules aren't in effect!
1. Basically, every pokémon you can have (including starters and legendaries) must be choosen via a poll. The pokémon with most votes are allowed. (For example, for Kanto, if Charmander has the most votes, you must pick charmander.)
2. When it comes to creating the choice polls, you must have every obtainable pokémon in the area you're in as an option in the poll. (For example, in Verdian Forest, i have to write "Caterpie", "Metapod", "Weedle", "Kakuna" and "Pikachu" as choices for the choice poll for what pokémon i catch in Verdian Forrest.)
2.5. However, if you wish to follow the dupe clause, you may not write a pokémon as a choice if you already caught it before.
3. You can only have up to 1-5 catch(es) (the number depends on how many you want to be able to catch in each area) in each area, and yes, each floor of a cave/dungeon counts as a seperate area.
Optional Rules
These are other rules that aren't required to follow to be labeled as a true PMP run.
- Faint equals death and you cannot use said fainted 'mon for the rest of the run.
- Alternate Rule 2: You can make a choice poll for your final team you want to have by the end of the run. (Adjust of rule 1: If you cannot catch or find the pokémon that had most votes, find the one who had the second most votes in the poll.)
